About Our Farm

Winnicut River Farm is a regenerative farm.  The impact of the mixed animals improves the soil.  A soil teeming with life results in lush forage development, diverse and rich in nutrients.  By intensively managing the rotation of the animals, we can improve the growth and regrowth of the forages while at the same providing the animals with fresh pasture each move.   Our animals are content.  Happy animals result in better tasting, healthier meat.  

 

We will never apply fertilizers, feed any hormones, and do not medicate our animals. There is no use of pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides on our farm.  Our animals are healthier by being 100% grassfed on a holistic management system that gives them fresh pasture everyday, sometimes two or three times a day.
