Winnicut River Farm is a regenerative farm. We use the impact of the animals to improve the soil. This in turn improves the pasture development through diverse plant growth and stronger roots. The improved pasture is lush and green, which keeps the animals happy and provides better tasting, healthier meat. We will never apply fertilizers, feed any hormones, and do not medicate our animals. They are healthier by being 100% grassfed on a holistic management system that gives them fresh pasture everyday, sometimes two or three times a day.
2024 Beef should finish during the spring flush of grass starting in May and we should be complete by September. Now is the time to get deposits in to hold a side of beef.
2024 Pork will be to satisfy reservations and holds only. While it is a farm favorite, it has been hard to estimate inventory hence we will only raise what we know we have sold. So get your order in by early 2024.
